stupid q? is it illegal to carry in a park/school ground after hours?

I live in TN/AL, around 6-7pm on weekends my parents and I sometimes likes to take a stroll through the local hiking trail/park that is right next to an elementary school. in my home town/county there is no law or ordinance against ccw in parks/trails, but is a school zone still "gun-free" 24/7 regardless of whether school is in session? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2fDPcUY
