I know this is /r/ccw but this is really the most active sub I can find that may be able to help me out.So my county in NC is WAY behind on issuing CCW permits. During the last week of June I got my pistol purchase permit, and the lady behind the counter told me that they were only on February applications - I got fingerprinted the first week of June. I'm not expecting my CCW permit to come in until October at best, probably into November.I recently moved, and I now walk instead of driving to my Friday/Saturday night job. Unfortunately that means I have to walk by a nightclub that's known to have some issues, and also near a couple of homeless hotspots. I'm thinking I might open carry on the walk back in the interim until I get my CCW.I have two questions -In the state of NC, can I open carry with an IWB holster with my shirt tucked around the holster, revealing the weapon? I know it's a long shot, but I'm trying to go as low profile as possible. For IWB I have a Stealthgear IWB standard for a Sig P320 compact (subcompact grip frame on it for this most likely).Failing that, does anyone have recommendations for a super low-profile OC holster? Level 2 retention is probably ideal, but I could settle for Level 1 with like a thumbsnap if it was perfect otherwise.Currently I only have Stealthgear Flex OWB (Level 1 retention is a no go for me for open carry personally) and Stealthgear IWB Standard for holsters.Thanks! via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2aaUbhV
