Just give them your wallet instead of shoot someone?

My partner is upset that I'm considering carrying and thinks it's much better to just give someone your wallet rather than have to shoot them. I'm on the fence. I feel like shooting someone, potentially killing them even in a justified manner would give you considerable mental troubles. Would it just be better to give a mugger your wallet rather than shoot? I feel like it's context dependent, so maybe just having the firearm could be a deterrent if you have to draw. What's the community think? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2au10LV
