Hello, Ive been wanting to get my permit for awhile and now have the money for a gun and to take the class. Just to clarify Ive never even had as much as a parking ticket so I shouldnt raise any eyebrows when I putt in my application.Everything Ive read online has said WV buying age for a handgun is 18, Im currently 19. I went to my favorite shop yesterday and was talking to the clerk and mentioned I was 19, he said staunchly that he could not sell me a handgun because of state laws. Im just confused by this?Is the age 18 or 21 to buy? We recently had some new laws put in place letting 18 yr olds get their ccw.
