Left handed family member having trouble locking the slide back for her EDC weapon.

A family member is left handed, and is having trouble locking the slide back for her CCW weapon (Glock 43). She is currently avoiding carrying the weapon because she isn't comfortable with it. If I can figure out a way to help her operate it comfortably, she will begin to carry and be able to defend herself.Assuming that buying a left-handed gun is out of the question, what is the best advice I can give?Does she have to switch hands and lock the slide back using a "right handed" method, or is a there a better way? Thanks. This is a repost of my earlier post which was rejected for not relating to self defense (rule 1). I updated to include the fact that it is a CCW weapon, and that she is afraid to carry ATM. I apologize for the omission. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/29KmbTY
