Whats the best course of action if stuck in traffic during riot?

The recent North Carolina riot got me thinking of a scenario of being stuck in your car during a riot.I have a road trip coming up soon and will be carrying into different states. I will be traveling with my family on the interstate. The riots got me thinking on how I would respond.Scenario:Bumper to bumper traffic, its late, you're in the middle lane surround by other vehicles. You start to notice people getting out of their cars ahead of you. So you try to find a local radio station to see whats up. There are reports of protests blocking the interstate and its turning violent. You get that uneasy feeling...your wife starts to panic, your kid is calm in the back seat watching a movie. You now see protesters going to different vehicles causing cosmetic damage by kicking doors and hoods. You notice an abandoned car has its windows knocked out and people start taking stuff from that car. Your car is about to be surrounded. As a CCWer what would you do? Abandon your car(Remember you're on a road trip, not close to home)? Hold your ground? If you hold your ground...when would you use your weapon? When they bust out your windows? Wait til they puts hands on you? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2dbuPSI
