I bought two of these & was excited to bump my Shield up to 9+1 plus a 10 round backup mag. Unfortunately the back edge of the base plate is square and sharp. It doesn't follow the contour of the back of the grip at all. This square, sharp edge rests directly against the heel of your hand and would probably be awful to shoot after a while.Of course, it's nothing a quick Dremel won't take care of, but we don't pay good money for new products just to have to instantly Bubba them.
