I have an upcoming trip to Chicago and know that Illinois has no reciprocity with my Michigan CCW. However I read that absent a non resident license or Illinois permit, I can carry on my person only while in my vehicle so long as the gun remains locked in the car when I exit the vehicle. Can anyone verify this? My primary concern is while I will be in my car and out of downtown proper on my way in and out of the city. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2dBxW63
