The setup: I was in a cheapy hotel room in Seattle the morning before flying back from vacation. I had just disarmed myself and placed my weapon in my Pelican for checking with the airline. Previously, the weapon was on the nightstand in condition 1. About 5 mins after packing away the weapon, I am standing around naked, just having taken a shower. My wife was also naked.Suddenly, the maid comes through the door. No knock, no "Housekeeping" announcement. She sees us, sheepishly says "My bad" and closes the door.Now, had she entered this way while I was armed, I kind of think I would have at least drawn down, if not actually firing.
