So in the wake of things happening in the world at large gatherings I decided to carry at sea world and after a quick search it showed the it might be frowned upon or even illegal (IANAL). I decided risk vs reward was worth the comfort or having it. Well we get close to the gates and I see metal detectors (something I didn't see online). This must be because of the shooting at the night club (I have my own thoughts on this but I digress). So I tell my wife I'm going back to the car. I drop my glock off and go back through the bag line with my water and first aid/blowout kit. Get to the front of the line and they have a kid probably 20 years old using a stick probing through my bag not even looking through all the pockets. Safe to say I could have put my gun in the back pocket of the backpack and it would have got through. The backpacks didn't go through the scanner. So take that for what it is. My experience of not carrying in the park. I also saw absolutely no guards or police except for one uniformed officer at the gate. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2a6dWH6
