New StealthGear holster not living up to its fame

Greeting fellow CCWers. I've been following this sub for awhile and constantly hear good things about StealthGear holsters, so a few weeks ago I purchased one. Previously I've been using an Alien Gear 3, which I've noticed some quality issues with, and more importantly a lack of breathability (sweat starts to accumulate and cause irritation). Upgrading was a no brainer for me.Well a few days ago I received my SG Mini, and am kind of disappointed with it for a few reasons:Comfort: The mesh backing is not very smooth to the touch, and having it constantly rub on my skin is irritating. Wearing it for just an hour makes me want to take it off. Is this normal? Could my unit be defective, or is that just how this backing is? I can't find anyone else who complains about StealthGears being uncomfortable. The AG3 is way more comfortable to me personally.Spare parts: The AG3 comes with a bunch of spare parts. My belt came with spare screws. A lot of expensive things I buy come with extra parts, just in case. Not so with this SG Mini - it came with absolutely nothing other than a card and a information packet. They must really believe in their product! I would be pretty disappointed if a screw came out and I had to wait a week for a replacement part before I could use my holster again.Pretreated with Quick Draw: This is a new one to me since I haven't heard of anyone else talking about it. The info packet that came with it said the holster was pretreated with a special "Quick Draw" lubricant which they recommend you apply every 100 draws or 30 days. Whatever, that isn't why I bought this holster, and I would be able to ignore it if it wasn't for the fact that my holster is somewhat greasy because of it. After I handle it for a bit I can feel (and smell) it on my fingers. Thanks, I guess?Don't get me wrong, the quality of this thing is superb, and I really want to love it, just having a hard time with the comfort. If it wasn't for the sweat problem of the AG3 I'd probably just switch to using that and send the SG back, but alas I can't overlook the sweat problem with the AG3. I am so torn right now!Just kind of venting here, but would really like to know if anyone has had a similar experience with StealthGear holsters. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2dnjspP
