I'll be hiking/camping up in NC over the weekend around the smokey mountains area. I have my cwp from CO and SC (my SC permit is technically invalid at the moment since I'm waiting for a new one with my updated address) as far as I can tell my CO permit is recognized in NC. But what I want to know is should I have any issues with open carrying while hiking in any trails around there? Or just in general? I know about the sign laws and duty to inform and I have to lock it inside a case if I'm leaving it in the car.
