My state allows you to have a gun on campus provided you have a CCW permit (I do), and if the gun is in the center console, trunk, glove comp, or another containment place. You can't carry. It's also a duty to inform state.Normally I throw my G19 in the center console before heading to campus. If I got pulled over by a campus cop am I(1) required to inform him about the gun in the console?(2) If not, what would I say if he asks if I have any weapons in the car, am I within my legal rights to say "yes it's in the console"?(3) Could I keep my gun in my holster on my body while driving on campus?
