Old Faithful Holsters - What they make and what they used to make

I've done a little research and found very little info on this subject, so I'm hoping we can gather all of the relevant answers.Old Faithful holsters seem to be well regarded around the internet. It seems that at some point they bought Alien Gear, and both companies have some affiliation, perhaps including using similar designs for certain holsters.Old Faithful used to be noted for do-it-yourself holster kits. Almost any internet post from more than a year ago is about the kits. Today I don't see any kits for sale on their site. Does anyone know when they transitioned from kits to completed holsters?Today, Old Faithful seems to focus on two "hip holsters," as follows-The Stealth Tuck. This seems like a no frills leather and kydex holster. No information on the grade of leather used in production (i.e. "genuine" leather, or actual full grain leather). It does not appear to have any sort of neoprene/cloth backing. The Leather and Steel. This one explicitly states that it uses full grain leather. It also seems to have a neoprene backing, much like the Alien Gear Stealth Tuck 3.0. It is more expensive (at $45 right now, on sale), but seems to be a higher quality option.I'd like any info anyone can provide, including reviews on these holsters, or info about the company's history. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2cTBpN3
