Is a Lifetime Indiana CCW permit valid even though I've permanently changed my state of residence to one with reciprocity with IN?

I recently relocated my permanent residence from Indiana, where I own a lifetime CCW, to Texas. I contacted the TX Dept. of Public Safety who told me to contact the IN State Police to find out whether they honor CCW for non-residents. I received the following from IN State Police: The Indiana Handgun Carry License Code does not address the validity of the Indiana Handgun Carry License if the license holder move out of the State of Indiana however the Code does address notifying the State Police of any address change.I'm not sure I understand what the ISP are telling me but I will certainly change my address and see if the reissue a new license. If they refuse, I have my answer. Otherwise, the new TX license isn't cost prohibitive and it's certainly a better alternative than incarceration so I'll probably err on the side of caution and apply. But if anyone understands this subject better, I'd appreciate your guidance.tl;dr Do I have to get a TX CCW if I move to TX but already have an IN CCW? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2cx7sTy
