This is what happens when you defend your home in Spain

A policeman goes to sleep with this wife in their house right outside of a small town.

They wake up to a big noise, the policeman goes to check whats going on.

Theres 4 men assaulting the house (thieves), he confronts two of them (after getting hit and bitten) and manages to escape back to his bedroom, where he has his official gun.

Comes back, things go melee again, he hits a guy with the gun (not shooting, just a hit)

Meanwhile you can hear others saying "shoot him! shoot him!"

They run back to a van, he aims at the driver (a 5th man waiting outside) and commands him to not move.

Suddenly theres shots coming from outside the garden, not sure from where, he shoots to the van in an attempt to disable it but misses, the van crashes and the policeman runs towards it, he encounters a guy with a shotgun and theres a firefight between the two. The shotgun guy gets shot but escapes along with the rest.

The policeman calls HQ asking for help and faints because all of the effort.

This poor man was just defending his house, didnt even kill anybody. Shot a guy who was shooting at him with a shotgun. He lost his job because he got PTSD, and also he got tested because theres a chance that he got hepatitis and hiv from one of the attackers. What could be worse...?

Well, the attorney is demanding that he faces 20 years in prison plus a 300,000€ fine because according to the attorney it seems that its not self defense to shoot at 5 men that are assaulting your house while you sleep, one of them with a shotgun. Assaulters only face 3-5 years maximum.

This is a normal thing, theres so many cases like this, we are doomed. So if they come to your house, you better make them a cup of tea with biscuits and let them fuck your wife if you dont want to face legal trouble.
