Thinking about bringing Escrima Sticks, wooden sticks used for martial arts, from California to Louisiana. Will this be a problem in the Airport?

Hi, so I not sure if this is the correct subreddit to post in but I own a pair of 27'' sticks that are about one inch in diameter and I would very much like to bring them with me. The reason is that there is a martial art club in NOLA I want to join and the club requires these sticks. Will this be a problem in the Airport? The weapon laws are a bit confusing so if anyone can put a link in regards to using a stick for martial art purposes that will also be great. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2JVI7O0
