I've seen a influx of questions posted regarding the legality of carrying your concealed weapon in various places that is legal in some states but not others. And it has me thinking, what if you have a license in multiple states and the laws are different for certain locations. The example I will use because it is a recent question is in polling places. Lets say you live in state A and it is legal as long as its not a school, and your license is from state A. But you also have a non-residents license from state B and in state B is is not legal to carry at a polling place period. Now you go to vote and just as you leave a police officer stops you because somebody happened to see something they thought was a gun and reported it. The officer knowing it is legal but to just appease the other citizen just questions you and asks to see the CCP/LTC and you comply but instead of showing state A because it was behind state B, you hand him state B not realizing this. The officer knows in state B it is not legal because of his research to better understand the licenses. He then informs you that in state B this is against the law and therefore not legal for you to do in state A.At this point you kinda panic but keep your visible composure and inform him you have a valid state A license and thought you had given him that. He asks for it and takes it and verifies it is legit. However he asks you to come with him to his patrol vehicle while he checks to see if you are still breaking a law since you posses two permits with two different statues regarding carrying in polling places.I know not to rely on any information and to contact a local lawyer/attorney. I just want to have some discussion on this. Also the scenario could be changed to anything, just happens that the voting question was asked recently.IMO if you have multiple licenses you should be willing to obey the laws of all no matter where you are. Just because if you get in trouble you could run into a D.A. that is not pro 2A and wants to make a example out of you. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2doJxQv
