Hello!A little background: Been carrying for 5 years, I am an Personal security adviser.I have been in love with my VTAC (Viking Tactics) Cobra Belt for about two years. Ive been using several belts similar to this for a while. But I have run into an issue. I hate looking so god damn tacticool all the time! So i decided to look into the leather belt products that are out there.After reading many cookie cutter reviews on Bigfoot Gun Belts. I ordered one. First off it asked me what my Pants size is. I put it in, it gave me a size 4 slots bigger. Ok, thats fine maybe they know something I don't. I got the belt which was the 18oz gunbelt with steel core. I got it rather quickly (4 days), I opened it up and was pretty happy with the construction of the belt.But I noticed the hardware (snaps and the belt buckle itself) seemed worse than the average walmart belt. I purchased the black hardware as an upgrade and it seemed like they took it from a walmart belt.I put the belt through the loops of my jeans, the belt is way too big. Id need to put in 5 notches, which on this belt is every one inch. Plastered all of their warranty and the information they send with is "DON'T NOTCH THIS BELT JUST SEND IT BACK TO US". Which was very disappointing but Since i am working on loosing weight I will have to put notches in it anyway so I was going to keep the belt as is.I decided to try a big texas belt buckle, just so i can try to bridge that gap. It didn't get it close, I tried to re attach the belt buckle that came with it, the snaps that hold the buckle on, sheered off as if it was cheap plastic. These must of been riveted on, and the rivets were aluminum. So now I have a completely useless belt within 45 min of arriving.I called customer support, and some snotty woman on the other line was just repeating the same line over and over again " Just send it back to us, Do not alter the belt any further." I asked her why this belt came with such crappy hardware. she just said to return it. I asked for them to cover shipping and they said no. And that it must be returned to them within 7 days otherwise they would just fix the snaps and give it back to me. I left a big review on their page, and they have reached me several times with different rehashes of what I've been told already " We want to take care of you, send it back to us".TLDR;-Shit aluminum hardware that broke within 45 min of receiving the belt. -Belt itself seemed like good construction -Cannot resize, it will void all warranties (they have a one year warranty) -Extremely poor customer service -WOULD not trust this belt -Purchase somewhere else via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2eG3Crq
