Well, went through the required private class Saturday - 8 hours instruction, then 30 rounds at the range.Applied online, then made the required appointment with the sheriff's department - first available appointment was DECEMBER 12! They must be having quite a run now, my class Saturday was full. This is in Cabarrus County, NC.
