There a sub or resource for when civilians used their medical kit (like tourniquet)?

Asking in /r/ccw since many people in here have a sort of prepared mindset.I see a lot of people talking about carrying a medical kit (tourniquet, QuikClot, etc) along with their pistol as part of their EDC. I can source DGUs fairly easily from news articles and forums like this (along with ballpark statistics about DGUs), but I cannot seem to find (or do not know where to look for) instances where civilians used their med kit. Are these people just being extra tactical or is there merit to carrying a compact med kit? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2bRUPxt
