Anyone thought of wearing a body cam like LE does while in public and open/conceal carrying?

I currently open carry and will eventually conceal carry and was thinking about wearing a small body camera like law enforcement does. I really want to be able to focus on everything going on around me without pulling out my phone if I get stopped by cops or have any kind of confrontation with another person.
