Future holder of a Texas LTC and I work in college dorm. Boss told me I can get fired for printing

Question for those of you who are concealed carriers: I'm currently a resident assistant at my dorm on a college campus and will be obtaining my Texas LTC in the coming weeks. I briefly spoke to a Hall Director (a step above being a Resident Assistant) about concealed carrying within the dorms (which is entirely legal as long as I have a lockable safe) and if he's known any previous Resident Assistants who have carried. He told me he hasn't heard of me but warned me that if any residents find out I conceal carry or if I'm printing at all, it's grounds for immediate termination.
