My new BUG with dual purpose holster

Picture album link at end of postAfter getting my wife her EDC, a Ruger LCP, I began finding myself throwing it in my pocket when running out to the store or doing some errands in sweatpants. I decided I wanted to get a pocket .380, but a few things about the LCP bugged me, so I looked at all my options around that price range. My typical carry weapon is the Glock 19 shown in the image, with the AIWB holster. I also have the Aliengear shapeshift IWB holster for when I don't feel like having it in the front all day. I ended up picking up a Taurus Spectrum and I REALLY like this gun. My wife's LCP has a Hogue grip and 12# Wolfe recoil spring set, and that thing still is very unpleasant to shoot. Her and I both understood that before purchasing it, it is for close range "point and shoot" protection. Well, this spectrum is actually enjoyable right out of the box! By my third clip I could hit 2" groups at 7yrds with all 7rds in the extended mag. The Holster I picked up is really nice too. Got it on Amazon, it has a clip for IWB carry, but the clip is removable and then works as a pocket holster. It's a very well made holster and fits the spectrum like it was made for it. This is my first Taurus, I know people either love them or hate them, but this is one nicely engineered gun. Love the fact that it's striker fired with a true DAO trigger and has no precock when racking a round. Takes a little worry off my mind when carrying AIWB with one in the chamber and it's barrel pointed at my man parts. All in all, happy with the purchase of both the gun and the holster. Now my wife wants one instead of the LCP, but we are going to wait for the other color options of the Spectrum to come out so she can get her pink gun. If it's alright with the mods, I'll post a couple more pictures showing it next to the Ruger.http://ift.tt/2Dp8k97 via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2mOSh9h
