I just began the process of applying for my FL resident permit by mail (I'm going to college out of state). I believe according to their website that any of the following four qualifications that I hold should fulfill the training/competency requirement: x NRA RSO Certification x North Carolina CCW class certificate x State of Maine Non-resident CCW permit x Written competition shooting record However, I plan on using a copy of my NRA RSO Cert as part of my application packet.
