I was recognized on the street by someone who had threatened me before.

I work in a field of work that deals with IV drug abusers and the mentally ill. Last year I was taking care of someone that we (staff) had to restrain using four point limb restraints. He told me he was going to kill me if he ever saw me when he got out.Well, it happened.I was walking home about a week ago and he sees me. Starts yelling my way, “Hey, I know you! I know you, motherfucker!” I didn’t make eye contact (but I recognized him) and quickly booked it out of the area.I grew up around guns. They’ve always been in my house when I was growing up. I have a rifle, and shotgun for hunting. Never had a handgun. Now I’m carrying a little LCP, and I’ve got my permit to carry concealed. I know the little Ruger isn’t going to cut someone in half, but I feel a little safer knowing I’ve got it, and I can use it if the unfortunate event arises where I needed to use it. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2DyhcWT
