Last week I spent my first real range time with the Shield .40, and while I could place single shots well out to 10 yds, I could not consistently place quicker follow-up shots.So this weekend, I went to the local gun store to purchase something larger, likely a G19 or M&P Compact. After explaining to the owner what I was looking for, he asked if I liked the Shield, which I told him, other than how it shot for me, yes. So he gave me a Shield 9mm with a trigger job to try out, and wow! First mag had all 8rds in the black at 10 yards.I purchased a new 2.0 right there and am super pleased with my decision! The trigger is MUCH better, the recoil difference is very surprising, the new grip is very nice. Plus I don't have to throw away my holster stash!
