I'm probably going to get down voted into the dirt for this, but I don't get the hard on the internet seems to have for 10mm. The same people that shame someone for choosing a .40 or .45 ACP will tout the benefits of 10mm and it makes no sense to me. If the collective internet can agree that all handguns kind of suck and stopping power is a myth, then why are some people so in love with 10mm? I've shot it. It pushes like a .45 and snaps like a .40. It's really difficult to achieve efficient follow up shots. The guns are super thick and not easy to carry for most people. I know a lot of people claim it's a good bear round for the woods, but bear spray is statistically more effective than any handgun https://youtu.be/RlaJsnEzjNE I carry a 9mm daily, so I'm not a salty .40 or .45ACP carrier. I'm open to learning, am I missing something? I'm just not sure why 10mm seems to get a free pass in the caliber debate. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2G0lMOe
