Suit wearers, how do you prevent fraying/holes in the lining of your jackets?

I wear suits because of work and ccw in them everyday, and was saddened to see fraying along with a small hole starting to form where the butt of my pistol makes contact with my jacket. :(For the future, how can I prevent this from happening? Should I have a tailor sew on a sacrificial extra layer of lining? Or should the lining around the "ccw area" be of a tougher material altogether? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2Du82xC
