I've had to define who is 'mine' (my children, my wife, my parents and siblings, and a small subset of my friends) and have no interest is injecting myself into ambiguous and highly risky situations for others. Escaping at least cost is inclusive of costs in the situation, and afterwards like police and court and possible jail time.2. /u/BradliusMaximus provides some things to consider about defense of a third-party:Am I willing to risk my life to defend the life of someone I don't know?Am I willing to deprive my family of a future with me to defend someone I don't know?Am I willing to risk permanent disability and all its associated expenses and challenges to defend the life of someone I don't know?Am I willing to spend a significant amount of my own, and my family's, financial resources defending my actions in the legal system for someone I don't know?Am I willing to spend a significant portion of my life, and possibly the rest of it, in a maximum security prison for someone I don't know? Will my actions place increased risk of death or harm to innocent bystanders if I take action? Most Helpful Users:1. /u/pongo0002. /u/crazyscott90Best DIY Holsters:1.
