Hey there,I recently (after fourteen months of waiting) was issued a carry permit from the State of New York.I bought a horsehide holster (IWB, two clip, hybrid style) from Foxx Holsters with a set of J hooks. The problem I'm experiencing is that it doesn't seem to hold the gun very close against my body, so it sticks out quite a bit.I'm wondering about the importance of my belt when the hooks cling to my pants rather than to my belt. Am I better off with metal clips? Is my belt primarily to blame? It's 9 ounce bridle leather, 1.25", and quite stiff.I could set the depth very low and the gun seems to conceal better, but the draw becomes difficult.Any thoughts? Thanks for reading. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2DQiYm9
