Comfortably exposed while driving?

I recently spoke with another cc holder here in CA about how he drives when carrying. He told me about how when he gets in he will tuck his shirt behind the weapon as well as tuck the seatbelt behind also for more cushion.. but now his weapon is exposed. Even if i had dark tint and nobody could see in, is this illegal? And what about if I didn’t have tint and someone could see into my truck and see my weapon.
