God forbid you'd have to resort to hitting someone with your carry weapon, but if you did, which types of handguns would hold up the best?

In an extreme self defense situation where, for whatever reason, you needed to hit your attacker in the head with your handgun, what types would hold up the best?In other words, which handgun design would be less likely to fall apart or bend or be broken if you had to hit an assailant in the head with it? Not speaking about brands, just at the basic design or 'type' level. My guess is that a revolver might hold up better than a semi auto pistol? Or is it the other way around? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2gYc0QN
