Virginia public school employee & future concealed carry permit holder leaving unloaded pistol in car legal?

I work at a public school and will be getting a concealed carry permit. My question is will I be able to leave my unloaded pistol in a closed container in the car while I am working without breaking the law? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2xJ4ep6
