So I was wondering how often everyone cleans their holsters and guns that they carry. I personally clean my holster month, or when I do something strenuous and sweaty (like helping someone move furniture all day). As for the gun, I clean it once a month after a monthly range trip.I do this, and I still seem to develop surface rust on the inside of the slide. Not sure if it is a maintenance issue, me sweating too much (noticed beads of sweat on the magazine after storing it away after a day of moving), or is it just the coating on the Gen 4 Glock.
