I've been thinking of picking up a single stack 9mm for my first pistol. I want something easy & fun to shoot, but also easy to conceal when I get my license. I have narrowed down my list to either the Ruger LC9S or Walther PPS M2. The Walther feels a bit better in hand but I've read about the barrel peening issue and that gives me pause. I like the size and safety on the Ruger but takedown seems like a bit of a pain. I tried an M&P Shield but didn't like how it felt in hand. Any thoughts or suggestions?
