In my opinion the SG ventcore is the best series of holsters on the market. But I hate their AIWB+ holster for the Shield. Here is an honest review.

I am a huge Stealthgear fan. I currently own two of their holsters with a third on the way. The build quality and materials are unsurpassed. However, I absolutely hate my AIWB+ for my Shield. The problem resides mostly within the ride heights and the clips. If you use the top belt clip hole then the grip rides so close to the belt that it is difficult to get a quick and proper grip due to the belt obstructing a few fingers from being able to wrap around the grip. So to fix this problem why not just use the bottom belt clip hole so that the holster rides higher? There is a problem with that too.If you use the bottom belt clip hole to obtain a higher ride height, the top of the holster and firearm begin to push away, or "flop" out from the body, even if you are wearing your pants at and above waist level. This also happens if you adjust the cant so that the clip on the firearm side to cant the firearm forward so that you can avoid the issue as described above. I think this problem is created because there is not enough hard material below the muzzle of the firearm to push against the body and stabilize the holster. So how to fix this issue? Other than training to draw a firearm when your grip is partially obstructed, you need to modify your holster that retails for $130+. Your options are to (1) spend an additional $9 for the angled belt clips to adjust for the "flop", (2) somehow jury rig a wedge onto the holster thereby partially giving up the benefit of the ventcore system, and (3) jury rigging a claw onto the holster.I currently have the clips on the way to see if it will make a difference. If not, it will be going on ebay.Of course, YMMV. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2vs23Ss
