Hello all, lengthy and specific question in regards to out of state resident. So I have a friend who moved to Alabama for school from Indiana. She's an out of state student and shes not able to switch her residency to Alabama, even though she could, but she would lose half her scholarships. She lives off campus so she is allowed to own and does own a handgun. It's also not very possible for her to to come back to Indiana to get her LTCH because when I did it, it took me roughly 3 weeks for the finger prints, approval, and local fee, etc. She cannot spend that much time away from her academics and research. So here's the question; is she allowed to get her pistol permit being an out of state resident and if so, how? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2h12j7Z
