First time taking public transportation to work. Would like some advice on my two options to carry.

Okay this seems pretty straight forward but I'd like to get some input on it.I have a new job that is a one hour commute via train. It is the same train that two people were stabbed and killed on after trying to defend Muslim girls from harassment.I am thinking either of off-bodying a Glock 17 in my 5.11 Push Pack. Pros: more rounds, no unholstering when arriving at work Cons: if someone mugs me, my gun goes with itORAIWB my Shield.Pros: gun is always in my control Cons: less rounds, have to go into bathroom at work every morning and unholster, then tuck my shirt in for work.Thoughts?
