I have read older posts about non-resident OR CHL's, but none too recent, so I don't know if anything has changed. I have my CHL in CA, but travel to OR a lot, so wanted to get my non-resident permit. Back when I was stationed in OR, it seemed like it was easier to get a permit, but I don't see many counties that still award non-resident permits. On top of that, I used to be able to just mail in my application and training paperwork, but it seems like I have to actually travel to the county now (which makes sense, I guess).
