Anybody carry a non-deadly weapon in addition to a handgun, if so, what & how?

Reading "The Law of Self-defense" by Branca as recommended by many here.Got to the chapter about non-deadly force/continuum of force and the authority writes,"Carrying a gun without also carrying something less forceful is a lot like having a jackhammer as your only tool. It limits your options and is much more than warranted."How many of your carry a non-lethal weapon in addition to a handgun? If so what & how? I'm assuming a knives and telescoping batons don't qualify as "non-deadly", so is pepper spray and tazers the only 2? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2uAelXG
