So because I have more money than self control. I'm planning on buying a Dan Wesson 1911 in the near future. I was looking when I realized quite a few options were available in .38 Super along with the usual .45 ACP offering.Long story short it looks pretty swell. On paper it sounds amazing as a carry cartridge, with more power than 9mm, more akin to .357 Sig in reality, 4 more rounds than a .45 1911, and possible loading raising it's velocity to ludicrous velocities.
