Maryland and DC non-resident permits?

I live, work, and hold a resident CCW permit in Virginia, but recently, I've had to begin going to Baltimore and DC for work periodically. I work for a defense contractor and often have sensitive information on my person when I go to either city. Both DC and Maryland require you to give them reasons why you need a permit, and I was thinking that maybe that would count as a sufficient reason to be issued a permit. Has anyone here ever had success getting permits in DC or Maryland? Is it worth applying or is it hopeless? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2or57hk
