Not looking for legal advice here. Has anyone had experience with the carrying of a long gun in a vehicle in MN? Section 624.7181 (specifically C3) seem to make it clear that carrying a long gun on or about your person is legal with a valid permit, carrying a pistol in a vehicle is legal as well. HOWEVER section 97B.045 says the only legal way to transport a long gun is unloaded and cased and makes no mention of permit holders. If you have had any experience in this area I would like to hear about it.
