Ethical question, in a situation of grave danger not directed at you would you put yourself in danger to draw your weapon and save strangers or flee for safety?

This is a completely hypothetical situation. I feel very comfortable carrying but I have a hard time deciding what I would do in certain situations.Of course you only really know what you'll do when something like that happens, but let me ask you this just to see if I'm on the right side of the fence.Let's say you're going to a mall through a department store entrance and just as you're about to go in you can see maybe 60 feet away from you a guy with a semi automatic pistol or rifle mowing people down.You can run away back to your car or other safe spot, or go in and neutralize him if you can but obviously at your own peril.What do you do?I know what I think about the situation but I want to know what you think.
