Would you get a permit in a constitutional carry state?

Just curious to hear different perspectives on this. I live in a constitutional carry state. However, there are advantages to getting a permit. One is that it changes your requirements in a LEO interaction from immediate disclosure to optional. Allows carry in certain state controlled areas. And, probably most interesting to me, establishes reciprocity with neighboring states where I do travel. However, I also live in a small town and it's pretty likely that a meet and greet with the chief to request the permit will be noticed by others. Then there's just the whole, why be more documented/photographed/etc. than really necessary.What do others think? Anyone in a similar situation that made the call one way or the other?
