I spotted my first fellow concealed carrier.

After having my CHL for almost 4 years, and sort of keeping any eye out to spot other concealed carriers, I finally spotted one in the wild. I live in an area where it's probably not very common, so I'm not totally surprised it took so long.I was at a kids' athletic event (not at a school) and another kid's grandfather was walking ahead of me. He was wearing a long-ish T-shirt and I thought I noticed a subtle bit of movement slightly above his right hip, but I wasn't sure. I watched him as we continued to walk and it appeared that his hip was slightly wider on that side. Then he discreetly pressed his forearm against his side. More signs that I was correct. The real confirmation was when he sat down. For just a moment as he was getting seated I was able to see the outline of the grip under his shirt. His back ended up against a wall where nobody else would notice after that. If I had to guess, I'd say he was probably carrying a single-stack - something like an M&P Shield. The main takeaway is that as much as I was looking, nothing I saw, other than maybe the two seconds he was getting seated, would have raised much of a flag for most people that he had a gun. I'd bet that I was the only person, out of a couple hundred there, that had any clue he was carrying. Most people are so caught up in other things anyway that they'd never even notice at all.If you're worried about printing, don't be. It's generally pretty hard to notice, even when you're looking. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2pZ9H6R
