Flying with a gun to a ban state?

I'm flying out of state soon, to a ban state that requires permits to own firearms (MA).I am jumping in a car at the airport and driving to a state that recognizes my CCW permit.Am I safe? Should I leave the handgun at home and not bother? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2nJQ421
