Morality of hiding handgun from roommates?

So, just moved into a new apartment in a new state where I can get a CCW license. However, I don't want to tell my roommates about me getting/having a gun for a few reasons:As hardcore liberals, they probably wouldn't approve (I'm also a lefty but pro-gun)Two of them have attempted suicide in the past several times, and I don't want them to be aware of there being an "easy" way to do it in the house, even if it's locked away. They are stable now, but there can be "heat of the moment" depression/suicidal ideations (not saying it's happened to them recently, just that it can happen with depressed individuals) and I don't want them to be able to give in to it, especially with something of my own.I personally think it wouldn't be too bad to get a small handgun and to hide it from them, but I'm looking for some perspectives from other people.edit: fixed second part for minor clarification via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2o7lH5C
