Would either of these firearms work?

I just turned 21 and want to start concealed carrying. But I'm on a very limited budget. My dad has two handguns that he just keeps in a safe at home (they never come out) that I could potentially use.I don't know the name of the first one, but from some research it's a Hungarian P37? It says "P. Mod.37, Kal. 7,65." on the side. It was my Opa's, He would never say how he got it but he did escape from a german labor camp in WWII so that could be the source.The second one is a cheap Jennings Firearms Model 48 .380 Auto, my dad bought it from a buddy ages ago.So!
